Through a partnership with Project C.U.R.E., Pulmor, Inc. will provide generators to remote hospitals and clinics in developing countries, which will allow for refrigeration of certain vaccines and medicines and continuous electricity for biomedical equipment. These solar powered generators have been designed for this purpose. With safe, reliable electrical power, hospitals and clinics in developing countries can more efficiently maintain facilities, equipment and supplies, and therefore better serve the medical needs of the surrounding community. The health and wellbeing of thousands of people depends on this resource, which many of us now take for granted.

Project C.U.R.E. is a nonprofit, humanitarian relief organization that provides medical supplies, equipment and program services to medical professionals and the patients under their care in developing nations around the world. In 2008, Project C.U.R.E. delivered more than $37 million in customized medical relief to more than 100 health care facilities in the developing world. Every week, the organization delivers an average of two semi-truck trailer-sized oceangoing freight containers full of medical supplies and equipment, making it the largest organization of its kind in the world.
